Info: When I first heard Hollow Jan, I thought, “What the hell?" And then I thought, “This is from Korea???" I’d heard some other Korean bands before, and they were good, don’t get me wrong, but Hollow Jan was just something else entirely. Immediate references are Envy and the whole Japanese screamo sound, but Hollow Jan is really paving their own road, creating something new and distinctly Korean. This 6 song demo is one of the strongest first releases from a band that I’ve heard in a long time. Their music sounds so full and deep. You can just lay down and get lost in it.
