Years ago I worked at a beachfront condo, working nights by myself. One night we had a bunch of ice cream that had to be eaten. I went on the rooftop and ate ice cream in the windy sea air surrounded by the sounds of the ocean in the pitch black of night. This album somehow transports me there. Yvette's music is singular in that it can capture such vivid emotions.
